Golden period for office workers

You might feel that you're too busy with work to exercise. For many office workers, exercising at lunchtime has become fashionable. As long as you pay attention to eating smaller, more frequent meals before and after exercising, you can not only refresh your mind but also achieve excellent results in shaping your body.

Lunch break exercise can be quite effective.

11:30 AM to 1:30 PM and 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM are currently the two peak times for gym workouts. From a physiological perspective, 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM is the golden time for exercise. However, for working professionals, after a busy day, they want to go home early, so many people use their lunch break to exercise. As long as there is no discomfort or fatigue after exercise, and it doesn't interfere with afternoon work, it can be quite effective.

A traditional full meal is obviously not suitable, but exercising on an empty stomach is even more of a mistake. Therefore, fitness enthusiasts can keep some snacks in the office and eat some fruit, whole-wheat bread, and drink some sports drinks about an hour before exercising to replenish the carbohydrates used during exercise. After exercising, they can eat something else when they return to the office.

It's important to note that you shouldn't overeat after a workout, as your body's absorption rate is very high after exercise, and eating too much can easily lead to weight gain. If you're still quite hungry around 3 or 4 pm, it's okay to eat a small snack then. Eating smaller, more frequent meals not only meets your nutritional needs but is also very beneficial for weight loss and body shaping.

For midday exercise, it's recommended to choose relatively static exercises such as yoga, Pilates, or brisk walking. This not only helps relieve physical fatigue and improve physical fitness but also prevents afternoon fatigue. If you're exercising on your own, half an hour of weight training plus 15 to 20 minutes of cardio on a treadmill or stair climber is sufficient; the intensity shouldn't be too high.

Generally speaking, exercising at noon for 40 minutes to an hour, three or four times a week, will yield good fitness results. After exercising, if possible, take a hot shower, and you'll be refreshed and ready to tackle your afternoon work.
