8. Western-style lettuce salads can be sprinkled with salt, pepper, or a few drops of lemon juice. Lettuce, steak, and seafood can be seasoned with soy sauce.

9. Avoid eating desserts after meals, and try not to add sugar to coffee or black tea.

10. If you overeat, don't go to bed too early afterward; do some exercise instead. Resume your diet the next day immediately; don't be discouraged or give up. However, several consecutive overeating meals will have negative consequences, so be sure to avoid them.
